Follow these three simple steps to connect Substly to Slack and start receiving updates in your workspace.

Step 1: Start the activation

  1. Go to Integrations in your Substly account.
  2. Find the Slack option and click Activate to start the setup.

Step 2: Grant Slack permissions

  1. You'll be redirected to Slack's authorization page
  2. Review the requested permissions carefully -- these are required for the integration to function correctly.

Note: The requested permission to access basic workspace information supports future features, such as sending direct alerts and reminders to individual users instead of only posting in shared channels.

Step 3: Select your destination channel

  1. Choose which Slack channel you want notifications to appear in. If you don't see your channel in the dropdown list, you can search for it manually.
  2. After selecting the channel, click Allow to complete the activation.
  3. Your Substly Slack integration is now live!
